A trip that was supposed to be spent with friends became an unexpected family vacation. Haaaay, my parents and their sudden plans..

Anyway, my family spent a few days in the wonderful island of Boracay for the summer. We stayed in the very relaxing Boracay Shangri-la Hotel, the hotel that made me love the word ‘complimentary’ so much. I mean, what other hotel gives a complimentary fondue while your swimming, complimentary brownies as merienda, and complimentary massages by the beach? Also, it made me want to stay in it forever to the extent that I did not want to go to where the Boracay stations were anymore. But, of course, for the love of isaw and Jonah’s/Jony’s fruit shakes, I successfully forced myself to go. All in all, although this trip would be spent more fun with friends, it still made my summer more memorable than it already was.
